WHU marketing, programs and student clubs initiate a number of events and provide excellent content. Many versatile video formats have been developed over the years to make these events and the WHU brand visible to the public.
Tutorials
WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management provides Excellence in Management Education. To share the experience, Professors provide their expertise in tutorials.
The first tutorial starting with placards on the wall, the format developed quickly to a professional shooting environment in a studio and digitally implemented graphics, which are created simultaneously during shooting. That way the professors flow is not interrupted and best viewing experience for the viewer is secured.
Video Reports and Teasers
Short videos with impression shots and interviews are meant to tease the viewer for an upcoming event, to join the experience.
With only about an hour of shooting, with as little as one person on camera and feasibly short amount of editing time due to low complexity, Teasers were the perfect format to keep the production resources and times very affordable and fast.
Testimonials
WHU welcomes many great guests and speakers from all over the world on a regular basis. To spread the word about the exciting moments that happen on campus, they support WHU with Testimonials about their experiences of their participation of the programs or events.
Testimonials were planned, shot and edited internally, so the production could be kept very close and ad hoc available for spontaneous decisions on an interview with a WHU guest.
Explainer
Next to Tutorials, motion graphic videos are the perfect tool to visualize content and to explain.
Live Streams
To spread the experience on campus even more interactively, live streams of famous speakers on one of many events at WHU could reach to the audience on a much more direct and personal level.
Because events could happen anywhere and anytime on one of the two campuses, the live stream setup had to be very versatile and affordable. The hardware elements of Teradek’s Vidiu combined with the existing camera equipment and the iPad-app “Live:Air” made it possible to quickly setup on changing locations for live streams.
